I think I hate this game more than I love it

I love to play poker, absolutely love it. I could play it all day every day if there were games going here in Texas (and I could afford them).

But on the flip side, I fucking hate this game. I normally play tournaments, but it seems every fucking tournament I play, no matter how well I am doing, 1 hand absolutely fucking ruins me. And 90% of those hands, I have my opponent dominated and the cards find a way to screw me over. Its so frustrating!! It would be one thing if I made bad plays and sucked and lost, but I swear I'm a favorite in 90% of the hands that knock me out of tournaments or cripple me. I'm not sure I can continue to take this.

I love it when I hold KK, raise the BB 4x, some donk calls with 3-7, and flop comes 3-7-9 rainbow.

thats just variance, we poker players usually have very selective memory. keep a wordpad open and write down the times you suck out and the times u get sucked out on... ull see is not that different

8 left in a $150 live play today. Chip leader raises pre with 55 and I reraise all in with QQ and he calls me. Guy spikes a 5 on the flop and I was out. Table paid the top 5 and I would've been in 2nd with that hit.

Could not believe he called my 8K all in bet. Blinds were 500/1000.

if blinds are 500/1000 and hes raising pre im assuming to around 3k at least and hes chip lead hes not gonna call 5k more against a short stack with a pair?
